REFLECTIONS ON WING CHUN KUEN (SPANISH).
Ruíz Sifu, Javi
The Wing Chun Kuen style is a martial art as sophisticated as it is simple. But despite its simplicity and simplicity, there is a great diversity within the different schools of the system.
My initial training was forged in the lineage of Wong Shun Leung, through sifu Santi Pascual. After twenty years of practice, ten years of teaching and having trained and tested Wing Chun against practitioners of other martial arts and contact sports, I present this work.
This book is not intended to be a manual or a guide to learn the techniques of this martial art, but I present ideas, advice and analysis of different aspects of the system from my own point of view.
The reader will find reflections on the nature of Wing Chun, its history, its fundamental principles, its teaching as well as on how to train different aspects such as chi sao, combat or the physical aptitudes necessary to be a good fighter.
Despite not containing a multitude of photos or long descriptions of how to perform the forms of the system, these Reflections on Wing Chun Kuen undoubtedly provide points of view that will allow both the practitioner and the instructor to broaden their knowledge of the system. And, above all, they will encourage him to reflect on our martial art himself.
